271. May 31, 2022. #2. Hi. As far as I am aware, the Fiat/Iveco 2.3 engine does not share parts with the Ford Puma based 2.2 engine. I believe the original injector clamp bolts are long enough that they pass right though the head and screw into the top of the block. This is an arrangement which is prone to bolt snapping when removal is attempted.

For the Fiat Ducato cigarette lighter, there are fuses F09 (rear power socket), F14 (power socket), F15 (cigarette lighter) in the engine compartment fuse box and fuse F56 (rear passenger power socket) in the optional fuse box on the right center pillar.
The 2.2 could be one of two engines. If it's a Peugeot badge on the front it is a 2.2 ford engine at 120bhp, if it is a fiat or Citroen is is a 100bhp multi jet Fiat engine. The 2.3 is a fiat 130 or 150bhp multijet, which is the most common one on the 2006-2014 x250 motorhome base chassis. The consensus seems to prefer the fiat 130.
I am in the process of changing my Rapido 9048DF for a Rapido 883F with the 180 engine. I have been having a look at the engine spec from the Fiat website and it states that due to the new engine design it does not use/need AdBlue which is fine by me, however the technical blurb from Rapido includes a 19 Litre AdBlue tank.
I have a 2008 X250 2.3 model. I had the gearbox removed, repaired and replaced last year, by a Fiat professional garage. They did not remove the engine. The same is true for any garage that does clutch replacement, which also needs the gearbox to be removed. See this video for a 2016 Peugeot 2.2.
Sep 22, 2008. #2. 160MJ must be the 3.0 engine, that means it needs a s ynthetic-based grade SAE 5W-40 that passes ACEA B4, API CF and FIAT 9.55535-M2 specifications. so basically any 5W-40 semi or full synthetic oil will do the job nicley. personally i'd opt for full synthetic. dont forget the engine may use a lot of oil for the first few
